I have been a member of the Community of God’s Love since 1985. The Community has been a tremendous blessing in my life. The fellowship and prayer meetings are life-giving and powerful. But the most inspirational experience has been to see the powerful effects of our intercessory prayer for one another. I experienced this in a life-changing way in 2012 shortly after I was diagnosed with stomach cancer. In this article I refer to the prayers of the brothers and sisters in the Community of God’s Love. They provided much peace and consolation for my family and me as we journeyed through the valley of the shadow of death. They also played a powerful role in my healing, I’m sure!
